The Nagas are a skilled people producing a range of handicrafts and handlooms. Their thick cotton shawls while being extremely colourful generally having a black background with red and silver bands running along with traditional motifs like spears and shields. Each tribe has a distinctive design. Sarongs are another important dress for the Nagas and they come indifferent colours and patterns.
